Arrest made for David Street shooting
On October 22, 2009 members of the Henderson Police Department responded to a person shot on David Street in Henderson, North Carolina.
Upon the arrival of officers, Seneca Henderson, an 18 year-old black male, was found shot once in the right leg. He was transported to a local medical center and was treated and released.
On October 26, 2009 members of the Henderson Police Department’s Investigations Section arrested and charged Dyquarium Moore, an 18 year-old black male and resident of Powell Street in Henderson, North Carolina. Moore was charged with possession of a handgun by a minor, assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill inflicting serious injury, assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm in the city, and going armed to the terror of the public in the shooting of Seneca Henderson. Moore was given a $125,000 secured bond and remains in the Vance County Jail pending a court hearing on November 16, 2009.

Is Dyqaurium Moore one of the same people who have been shooting off guns on Powell Street? I know that the local community watch group has been complaining for months about a group of young men who are dangerous.

The man who calls on TOWN TALK was on again this morning with all this gobbledygook about license to carry guns, etc. He jus can’t admit the law abiding citizens obey the rules. These teens and others don’t concern themselves with the laws–and carry concealed weapons and go to the terror of the public.

how about the student letters to the editor from dvw so-called learning center. The letter started by saying the kids name was —— and it was signed by the kid saying his name was ———. Funny thing was the 2 names weren’t spelled the same! I wonder if after she teaches them the days of the week, will she work on teaching them how to spell their names?

heard from one of my relatives that have children in the Granville Co. Schools that Webb High School was placed on “lockdown” yesterday afternoon. They wouldn’t allow by sister to go into the building to check her daughter out for a dr. appt. I didn’t see anything on the local news. Does anyone here on HiH have any info. about this situation b/c she was told some “run around” story.
