2010 District Forum Jan. 28

by NC Senator Doug Berger
I hope that you will reserve Thursday, January 28, 2010 to attend the annual 7th Senatorial District Public Forum.

The forum is sponsored by Representative Lucy Allen (representing Franklin County), Representative Michael H. Wray (representing Vance and Warren counties), and myself. This event will be held at the Civic Center at Vance-Granville Community College in Henderson, beginning at 10:00 A.M. We hope to end the forum by 2:00 P.M.

This year’s forum, entitled “Job Creation and Economic Growth: Moving Past the Recession,” will give attendees the chance to both hear from their representatives at the General Assembly and appraise them of their concerns about the upcoming short session, which will begin on May 12. There will also be presentations by three prominent members of North Carolina State Government. These presentations will center on the forum’s theme of economic growth and job creation.

The event is free and open to the public, and lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP to this invitation by calling or emailing any one of the sponsors by January 21st:

Senator Berger, (919) 715-8363 or email
Representative Allen, (919) 733-5860 or email
Representative Wray, (919) 733-5662 or email

Below is an agenda for the forum, listing both the organization of the forum and the guest speakers who will be joining us. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday, January 28, 2010, and please feel free to invite other people to this event.

Sincerely,

Signature

Doug Berger
