Oh no, don’t tell me Sam Watkins is now stealing bird seed!!
I heard he and the “boys” also had conspired to make the early morning too early for most folks after next weekend.

Is Rick Brand still upset that he was not named successor to the head of the economic partnership?
I detected a little anger in his letter to the editor of the dispatch.
Calm down Rick, Sam will toss you a bone in due time if you behave, but keep acting up and you’ll have to sit in the corner a bit longer.
Wonder why they just keep coming back for more bones from Sammie?
Did you notice Sam’s body language on the tape when he was speaking last night? Pitiful. He actually seemed ill-at-ease and a bit nervous. Could be he knows his reign is just about to end?
Did anybody understand MEE on the tape of the council meeting last night? Wonder if MEE will get another new car for doing as she was told.
O’Geary runs the meeting. He should require them to stand and speak so they can be heard. She does it on purpose. She is a “minister” (tongue in cheek), so you know she has a POWERFUL voice.
don’t detect any anger at all. i think he makes an excellent point, we need the strength to carry out a plan—any plan! We fight and argue on the statement/opinion of a person or two ( anonymous person, sound familiar)from the survey, but we don’t debate the heart of the plan, the strategic objectives.

Does anyone know who I can call about a pit bull that animal control picked up on Carolyn Court today. I live in this neighborhood and this dog was just wandering loose and he attacked another dog. I know the animal was picked up today but I’m concerned that he will be released back to his owner who apparently is not securing him properly. I have children and am also concerned about the safety of my family and my neighbors. I tried calling animal control but of course with all of the tax dollars that we pay the city/county, it’s not open! Any help or suggestions will be appreciated!

If this is in the county, I would call the Sheriff, and if in the city, the Chief.
North Star..My TWC went out for about 15 mins, but then it came back on. I have internet and phone with TWC also and that went out too. I tried to call and all the #’s I called were busy. I told my husband they probably did an upgrade or something crazy like that.
My2cents–Better than before ACC games! I’m old enough to remember when Heidi came on before an important football game ended! CBS’ switchboard (yes, they had them then)lit up like a Christmas tree–and that wasn’t nearly as holy as ACC!
Peaceful = early morning singing birds, quiet streets

Yes, just went out and put out my bird seed for the day. They let me know that the feeder was empty. Can’t wait until it is hummingbird season!
Early morning is the best time of the day.

This is dangerous for sure. Good Luck.

Thanks Interesting,
It’s in the city so I’ll call the Chief. I’m sure that if the dog is released he’ll be loose again.
Thanks again!

I hope that is the right thing to do. If not, they can certainly point you in the right direction for sure.
I am glad it is in the city. I think Chief will certainly see to this being that it is a danger to children.
Good luck. Let me know!

Rick Brand is telling it like it is this time. You can lead a Mule to water but you can’t make him drink!

No more truck stops–unless they are on Parker Lane–and not the Dabney Drive end!

I expected Rick to be more positive, isn’t that what they have been preaching?

Does anyone know of a local place that frames pictures like watercolors?
Thanks!

# 14, would Miss Lou’s Quilting business on Raleigh Road, across from Kiger’s Grocery have any information that could help?

I bet Tom Hannon remembers that.
