Daylight Savings time – I am looking at the darkness outside, and I know kids are waiting at the bus stop. It is so dangerous when this happens. Everyone has to adjust to it, and it is just not necessary for a little more light at the end of the day.
I think the time should be left alone.

I have had the same thoughts this morning interesting. It takes six weeks to get the hang of it. A little adjustment each night will help a lot. With all that said, goodnight for about 2 hours.

I like it as it makes the daylight longer. Hate those winter months when it’s dark at 4:30pm. Ugh.

One of the most racist people in Henderson is on the radio WIZS–as usual, taking more than her time and getting some nasty asides in all over the place. Anyone else feel the way I do?

I HATE daylight savings time. It totally messes up my body clock. I may be mistaken, but I believe it was created in the first place so kids could help out on the family farm after school. Well, the Federal Government has pretty much run all the family farmers out of business with all those operating and equipment loans they didn’t need in the first place, so no, I DON’T believe we need it any longer!

and who is tired of this idiot being on the council? Evidently not enough because she continues to win even though you can name all the GOOD things she’s done for the city on 1 finger! after you cut it off!!

I hate springing forward, and I hate that daylight savings time keeps starting earlier and ending later. That said, it wouldn’t bother me so much if the “savings” came with interest: I’d happily (well, sort of happily) give the government the hour in March if I could collect 90 minutes come November.

We dare to think the universe runs at the pace we set our clocks and calendars. Then we dare to manipulate it. Dali painted time well.

Wonder why the time couldn’t just be adjusted at the solstice’s and equinox’s…say 15 or 30 minutes at a time? The hour at one time blows a lot of people outta wack.

Daylight Savings Time provides that extra hour of sun light in the evenings that helps our gardens grow!
Comment by Typical Vance Scholar — March 15, 2010 @ 5:20 pm
??? that extra hour of sun will be there Scholar no matter whether we call it 4pm or 5pm. The Sun doesn’t have a watch and our flowers will bloom.

I like the extra day light after 5pm..
it’s my favorite time to work in the yard and garden.
everybody’s different..
but it is a concern that the kids are standing in the dark at the bus stops in the AM..
